The UN High-Level Dialogue on Migration and Development 2013 (3-4 October) is coming up very soon!
This is a core activity ( / area of involvement) for the Committee and the first time that the whole UN system (in New York) will turn its attention to the issue of migration since 2006, the year of the first HLD on Migration and Development.
The Committee’s Eva Sandis presented this, on Protecting Migrants in Distress, at the HLD preparatory hearings on July 15, 2013 (particularly, within the hearings’ Action Theme 2: Migrants’ Rights and Protection).
