In a world where millions of children face conflict, displacement, poverty, and the growing impacts of climate change, this World Children’s Day serves as a call to action to protect and empower the most vulnerable.
TheNGO CoM Children in Migration Subcommittee has co-organized an event that builds on the momentum of the Second World Summit for Social Development (Doha, November 2025) and spotlights the urgent need for universal, child-centered social protection systems that uphold every child’s rights—particularly in humanitarian and fragile settings. Emphasizing the science on early childhood development, the discussion during this virtual event will advocate for coordinated action across health, education, justice, and social sectors to create pathways to resilience, equity, and lasting peace.
