On 9 March 2026, the NGO Committee on Migration is co-sponsoring a CSW70 parallel event “Gender Justice Beyond Borders: Mobilizing for Collective Action on Migration.” This hybrid event will be held from 9:30am-11:00am (New York time) at the Bahá’í International Community UN Office (866 United Nations Plaza, Suite 120) and online (via Zoom).

Description: This event will convene CSW70 participants working on or interested in migration and gender justice to exchange, align, and mobilize around advocacy linked to the upcoming Second International Migration Review Forum (IMRF). Framed around the CSW70 priority theme of access to justice, the session will explore gender justice issues related to migration, situate them within the IMRF process, and provide a shared space for learning, coordination, and collective action. The convening marks the first in a series of dialogues leading up to the Global Gender and Migration Assembly, to be held on the sidelines of the IMRF.
