The Grassroots Forum on Migration Governance is a civil society-led forum that aims to provide space for dialogue on critical issues facing migrants, migrant families and civil society. The GFMG hopes to have a deeper and more accurate reflection of both the diversity and the multiple concerns migrants and other grassroots migrants movement have to address in the day-to-day realities that we face across the regions and around the world.
Following the first GFMG held during the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) on 22-26 January 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland, the GFMG is organizing a webinar series (in collaboration with the NGO Committee on Migration and other key migration networks) that will follow through on its initial conversations with members of the movement.
